Anya-Deane is a partner at O’Flynn Weese. Her practice includes estate planning and estate administration. She works closely with a number of banks, accountants and financial planners to ensure the client’s estate plan is comprehensive and practical, and carefully considers family relationships to reduce any potential for conflict. She has acted as executor on a number of complicated estates.
Anya-Deane also works closely with the O’Flynn Weese litigation team on estate matters and has successfully represented clients at the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Ontario Court of Appeal.
Anya-Deane has presented at conferences for the Law Society of Ontario and the Ontario Bar Association and is a regular speaker about estate issues on behalf of local banks, financial planners and community groups, including the Chamber of Commerce, Belleville Police Service, Quinte Estate Planning Council, and the Quinte Coordinating Committee against Violence. She is also active on a number of local not-for-profit boards and fundraising committees.
Anya-Deane holds a Master’s Degree in Tax Law from Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto. She received her undergraduate degree in Industrial Relations from McGill University and worked as a property tax analyst in Toronto prior to obtaining her LLB from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2008. She lives in Belleville with her spouse and two young children.
